Iris Chen 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★LOVE. An easy 10 stars. The house is magnificently decorated with period art and furnishings, with a touch of whimsy. It retains many of its original elements from the 19th century, including the gorgeous, wide-plank wood floors. The garden is spectacular - it’s filled with jumbo-sized flowers and other plants, much lusher than you can find in any NYC park, of every color imaginable. It seems that everything here is jumbo sized lol. John and Rafael, the hosts (along with their charming toy poodle, Druscilla) do nearly everything themselves and it’s clear they do it with love. The buildings and property are immaculate and impeccably maintained, without a dust ball in sight, yet the property feels lived in and cozy. They’ve added modern amenities that ensure a comfortable stay - crisp, luxurious linens, a/c in the room so you can adjust the temps to your liking... even the water pressure in the sink and shower was perfect! The property is just several hours drive outside of NYC, and a short drive to various hikes, of varying difficulty levels, with breathtaking views. The town is also a short drive away, and includes a farmer’s market with giant, locally grown produce, which John and Rafael source from for their delicious breakfast offerings. This is easily the nicest bed and breakfast I’ve ever stayed at, with the most gracious and charming hosts. Highly recommended - you will remember your visit forever.

Jessica Sanger 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★Absolutely gorgeous views and and just a short walk to Main Street! The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, making the house that much more welcoming. They have such an appreciation for the history of the whole area. This truly is a hidden gem in the Catskills.
