The BEST campground views! Super clean bathrooms; 90 acres of different levels of camping, great activity areas, lots to do, super staff (Gina is the manager and amazing!), good wifi, and weekend events throughout the season; just all around great KOA as this was our second time back and will be going again!!! Hiking, distilleries, breweries, wineries within the area. Definitely our favorite KOA!!

We like to stay at KOA’s because we have an idea of the quality of the sites without ever having been there. This was our first time staying at the Gilboa KOA. It was the most well kept KOA that we’ve been to, everything was clean and new. The sites were a decent size the scenery was beautiful. The owner was attentive to requests and the staff was pleasant. We travel with 2 teenagers and 3 dogs. The camp K9 was nice and the kids had a blast on the water slides. There is river access for swimming, fishing, or floating in inflatables. Check in was a little confusing as we got there after dark and the store is up a hill to the left of the gate but once we found it everything went smooth. There’s not much around the campground but we had been looking for a campground that we could just stay in and enjoy the grounds. This is that type of campground. From what I gather the new owner took over a few years ago and a bunch of people left, or were told to leave, causing resentment which resulted in older negative reviews. The newer reviews seem positive and this reflects the current state of the campground.

This is our favorite campground. Our daughter is in a wheelchair and while there aren't patio sites, the ground is level and packed so we can easily maneuver her around the site. We've stayed here 3 or 4 times over the past 2 years. We haven't used the pool yet because the weather hasn't been quite warm enough when we've been there but maybe next year. We already have 2 trips reserved for next season. My only recommendation is a "snack shack" in the campground itself. It's hard pushing the wheelchair all the way up to the camping store. I know we can drive but walking is so much more enjoyable. Oh and you're guaranteed to see an Osprey or Bald Eagle if you stay on the river side.

Really only see 3 staff members as your actively trying to find them. Didn't personly go on any of the amenities. Very hilly and each level as own camper space.
