It is a beautiful place! The staff was friendly and helpfull. The views of the mountains and valleys were incredible. Relaxing lake to sit by. The grounds are well kept and the bathrooms are spotless. Used laundry and they are new machines that work great. I was here during the week. Went tubing on the upper Hudson River. Will return for sure.
Jun 25, 2026 · Google ReviewTwin Oaks Campground was our 219th stop, and we stayed for 7 days. Right from the start, we had a great, humorous conversation with the owner when calling in for reservations, which continued at check-in and had great interactions with her when we saw her in the park. If you have issues following simple instructions or basic rules, this may not be the park for you. Navigation Tip: Definitely follow the directions provided by the RV park. Just be prepared: you immediately go up a big hill, followed by 3 miles of narrow, twisting roads (though there wasn't much traffic). We did this with a 39 foot motorhome. This review focuses on the front of the park, as the woods section is primarily seasonal campers - the sites are well-kept. There are a small number of full hookup sites—though they do have a honey wagon service and dumping stations. Site F1 is easily the best, offering a lake view and some nice shade trees. Amenities & Grounds: * Beautiful, tranquil 7-acre lake with a fountain (colored lights at night) with a small swimming area and boat rentals. Catch and release fishing. * Huge pavilion, nice playground, great pool area, and a well-stocked store for essentials. * Well-maintained gravel roads and pads (very easy to level). And always working hard to keep the grounds looking nice. * Lots of dogs and dog friendly. Minor things: No patio (you step right out onto wet grass) and there is a $20 cash deposit required for the gate remote (which is stated in the reservation email). No dog park but a walk along the exterior park road is about a mile. All in all, a beautiful setting. Would rate it a 4.5 / 5.0!Connectivity (3 pm): T-Mobile 121 down/4.7 up; Verizon 169 down/5.9 up; Park WiFi 11.2 down/11.7 up
Jun 15, 2026 · Google ReviewWe stumbled upon Twin Oaks while searching for a place near Howe Caverns. This is a simply beautiful property. It is well maintained, bathrooms and showers are spotless. The family is kind, welcoming and it certainty shows they take great pride in the campground and guests alike. The views are breathtaking, the night sky full of stars and this is by far my favorite place we have visited. I am sitting by the pond planning our next trip here and hoping to get the whole family to come! The price is more than fair considering the amenities, pool, playground, wifi and scenic views. I rarely do reviews at all but had to give proper recognition to the extraordinary work they put in here!!! Well done, we will be back!
Jun 6, 2026 · Google ReviewCalled and made reservation the day before our arrival, easy enough. Campground surrounds a small lake, very scenic. Check in was a breeze, then escorted to our site. Long level pull through with FH. Bathrooms with showers very clean as was the laundry. Saw a pool and other amenities but we only spent the night. WiFi worked great as did T Mobile cell service
May 19, 2026 · Google ReviewThis is the quietest gated community of family campers I've seen thus far. Big pond for fishing. Spectacular views. And wireless which is a minor miracle in this area. We'll be back. Stayed Friday and Saturday night and heard cheerful laughter - no screaming kids, no F-bombs. This is no KOA. Thanks for the hospitality.
