This is the only farm stand stop I make on trips from Boston to Cooperstown and back! Their veg and flowers are the absolute best. Yesterday I got the freshest corn, beautiful zucchini, big tomatoes and a bazillion cherry tomatoes and the most gorgeous pink, white and purple lisianthus (I got to pick and cut my own)! They are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet and it makes the long trip so much more worth it! They also have a food booth now and everyone was getting donuts!

Parsons farm stand has fresh, delicious vegetables and flowers, pumpkins and apples in the fall. There is a place on the property near the farm stand that I believe sells prepared food but I am not sure —I have only been to the farm stand. There have been times that I was looking for a particular vegetable —parsnips, for example that I called to see if they had the . They did not have them but I did not speak to someone right away so I went to Walmart, which that day was the only place I could get some. Sometimes there is a honor system with prices listed and place to pay for the produce you take. That is frequently the way farm stands do business in the country

We have been stopping at Parsons for years, as we pass by in the summer to go to our camp. Today we stopped to look for pumpkins and grab a few vegetables. I was greeted with a warm smile and a hello from the farmer and an offer for a free sample of cider donuts. The farmer said we could pick a pumpkin from the available ones at the farm stand or we could go out to the field and pick one on our own. They have the biggest pumpkins I have ever seen. When we cashed out, the cost was surprisingly low for 2 giant pumpkins, and told me all about the varieties of pumpkins he has out in the field and then he thanked us for going out and getting them ourselves. Take the trip out to Parsons, you will definitely be glad you did. We are going back in 2 weeks for a few more. Make sure to bring cash.
