Even though it's very late in the year, I was still able to score some local honey and some handmade lotion bars as gifts for the holidays. This place is seriously in the middle of nowhere, but GPS took me right to it. As an aside, this little store is cash/check only.

We have purchased honey several times over the past 4-5 years and it is always excellent. It has such a wonderful smooth texture and fresh, creamy taste. So much better than store bought honey. It really is a treat on English muffins, whole grain toast and in my oatmeal. I recommend your place to everyone I know. Thanks for the email updates and sharing your knowledge and how the honey production has progressed this year. Best wishes for continued success!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sun Mountain Apiary has the best honey I’ve ever tasted! 🌸🍯 The flavor is pure, rich, and naturally sweet without being overpowering. You can really tell the care and quality that goes into every jar. Their bees are clearly well cared for, and it shows in the freshness and consistency of the honey. I love supporting a local business that’s so dedicated to sustainability and excellence. Highly recommend to anyone looking for real, authentic honey – you won’t go back to store-bought after this!

Sun Mountain Honey Store is a one of a kind, unique destination for anyone looking for Honey and related products. And the honey is amazing. Bob and Linda have lots of honey, honeycomb and lotion bars. All of their products are excellent and hand made. Travel to the store is a nice ride, just a few miles from Altamont.

Such a lovely storefront. The honey is delicious and the lotion bars are great for dry hands and smell SO good. This is the only place we buy honey anymore!
